F.A.Q.

Q: Why should I hire a Professional?
A: You should hire a pest control professional because he or she has been trained, certified and licensed to practice pest control in the state of Washington. A pest control professional has been educated not only to solve pest issues in the most effective manner, but also in environmental awareness and safety. There is more to solving a pest problem than just spraying a product that causes them to die. The problem is often bigger than what you see. Pests are excellent at hiding and nesting in inconspicious places. In order to get rid of the core problem, you must have a deep understanding of breeding habits, proper identification, indications and contraindications of products, the effect of products, and where they are most likely to be nesting. Many pests,  require special transfer insecticides  only available to the pros. ArmaGetem’s Professional will solve your problem.

Q: What is the difference between pest control and pest prevention?
A: There is not really a difference as pest control is pest prevention and pest prevention is control. With that said, many experience pest problems
which require a pest Control plan in place initially. Once controlled, pest prevention can be assumed in order to protect from future infestations.

Q: I have kids and pets, is your treatment safe for my family?
A: All of ArmaGetem’s technicians are trained with the strong focus on safety. Even though many of our products are considered safe… virtually anything out there if used improperly could be harmful– you don’t have to worry with ArmaGetem. Our customer’s well-being is of the utmost importance to us, and we follow strictest safety guidelines which are most definitely in line with the Washington State Department of Agriculture and the Environmental Protection Agency (E.P.A.)

Q: Why won’t one treatment solve my insect or rodent problem?
A: Our homes are constantly under attack from many different pests all year long. You can choose to control your pest problem for a period of 30 days (One treatment) or yearly (Quarterly program). We also service Monthly and Bi-monthly. By choosing one of our pest control programs, you are creating a “Treated area” or “Barrier” around your home; this ensures the absence of pests from inside your home. Since we are encroaching on their territory, they are constantly trying to invade our homes and reclaim their territory. Creating and maintaining a treated perimeter around your home will prevent infestations. Because the products used today do not have a long-lasting effect as they breakdown over time (30-90 days), it is important to maintain this protective barrier by enrolling one of our ongoing “Getem All, All Year” maintenance programs. Most businesses use monthly or bimonthly pest control programs due to the need for “Absolute Pest Control” requiring more specific control.

Q: Will the technician have to apply these products in my home on every visit?
A: In the majority of cases, when a customer calls us for pest control service, pests have been observed in the home. Initially, we will treat the interior, in conducive and activity areas, as we do our exterior service. Once we have controlled the interior population, a regularly scheduled exterior service is recommended in order to maintain a treated perimeter which helps keep the pests outside, not in. Of course, upon request, future interior services are available at no extra charge as part of the “Getem All, All Year”  Basic and Plus Programs. In addition, any materials that we use  are applied in the most effective and efficient manner. We will only service the interior if we deem it appropriate to do so. When we do treat the interior, it is SAFE and in most cases you are not required to vacate! Thats another reason to do business with ArmaGetem Pest Control an Eco Friendly Pest Control company.

Q: Why should I go on a program for pest control?
A: ArmaGetem has a strong focus on prevention.  Our preventive approach keep pests out of your home year-round. Though you may not see them, insects are putting pressure on entering your home in every season.

Q: Why don’t we do interior pest control every time?
A: Being on a pest control program will provide year-round protection  and should eliminate the need to treat the interior on each visit. After the initial interior treatment, exterior treatments are regularly scheduled to maintain a treated area (wall) around your home, thereby attacking the pests before they can get inside.

Q: Does ArmaGetem offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee?
A: Yes we do. In fact, if for any reason while you are under our “ArmaGetem All, All Year” pest protection program you happen to experience an unlikely but possible pest infestation, we will come back at no additional charge and retreat if necessary. Our goal is to keep you as our happy customer.
